My review of Ain't It Good Productions is that it is seriously over priced and provides mediocre training. They promise that there are some big entertainment companies at the IMTA event but the event is really too small for the big companies to be interested. They tell you need to cough up about $5,000 dollars not counting air fare to the event. The actual entry fees are not that expensive all the rest is all profit. They have hundreds of people doing the same acting scenes. They basically teach you how to kiss the ass of producers and agents. The company, in my opinion is incredibly self absorbed and controlling. I found they have extremely rude and sassy customer service people.
The bottom line is if you got the money AIGP think's you've got the talent. They claim they will help you with a lot of types of personal development but it's all so superficial that it's really not worth the money. You could read a book and get the same. The instructors in the various areas are incredibly mediocre. It's clear they are there to justify the cost. IMTA is incredibly over rated. There are other and better ways to get into the entertainment industry.
After IMTA was all over, myself and my class mates all felt the same in that it wasn't worth it.
One last, note. I have googeled this company a few weeks ago and had found some discussion boards criticizing AIGP. I have recently checked back on these discussion boards to find the whole discussions removed. Censorship is unAmerican. Consumers have a right to express their opinion about their experience. Clear evidence of being "controlling" as I said.
