When getting a rental at my local blockbuster yesterday, one of my old friends working at the register told me that I had a "mismatch" on my account. After I asked what that was, he told me that I had returned the Reno 911 Season 3 case without any movie in it. I was sure that I had in fact returned this movie, but just in case I searched everywhere in my house and car just to make sure that I did not have it.
I always check the inside of my dvds before returning them to make sure I put the disc inside, and know that I returned this movie. Now I am probably going to be charged for this movie which I already returned as there is no possible way I can prove I returned it.
Everyone at this blockbuster is very nice except for this one kid who I believe dislikes me. He looks like an elf, has dark black hair, and always seems to be pissed off and mentions it when I have overdue movies (I generally use the 1-week no late fees grace period). He was working when I returned the movie, and probably removed the movie just to be a jerk.
I have never had a problem with blockbuster in 5 years as a loyal customer but this is all it takes for me to never set foot in another blockbuster again.
