My husband and I sat through the presentation, decided to buy a pool, and give them a post-dated check for the down payment. The never called to tell us whether we were approved for financing or not, so I called them only to find out we were not. I asked about my post dated check, which was not due to go through the bank for another 3 days, and finance dept said they would void it and mail it back to me. Come to find out, the sent it through 5 days later causing almost 90 dollars in overdraft fees. I called them about this and they told me they would cut me a check to reimburse me but would only pay half of the NSF fees and that I should be thankful for that because they usually don't pay any. Uh... How often does this happen I wonder? Anyway. Here it is going on 3 weeks later and still no check. Supposedly they dont understand why I haven't received it yet? The pools may be awesome and I would have LOVED to have had one, but this is ridiculous. I have four children and was trying to do something good for them and this company has caused nothing but a struggle for us. To some 400 may not be much, but it is in this household. The check should have been cut and mailed overnight or direct deposited. If you want their pool. I advise coming up with your own financing.
