After paying $97.00 to join Beverly Bergman's "International Alliance of Female Copywriters", I was sent a receipt and permitted to log into the "members area" of the website. Ha, what a joke. The members area is blank. Completely blank. To rule out this being a browser issue, I reloaded the members area in a different browser and the same thing, blank.
I received a "welcome email" from Beverly Bergman and it was the epitome of unprofessional. There was none of the usual information such as log ins or explanations of how to access what I just paid for (because I paid for nothing, obviously).instead, there were notes written to Beverly Bergman from whoever helped her set up this rip-off joke of a website, telling her what information she should include in the welcome email template. And this is what she was sending to her purchasers!
It read as follows:
"Welcome to the Associate Members.
Reminder to bev
"what they will receive by snail mail, when monthly teleclasses will begin, when and how they will receive teleclass access information, ezine coming soon, email and number to call if any questions."
We are happy to inform you that your application has been approved and your account activated..
~IAFC Team"
So now I have to try to track this con artist down and go through the hassle of trying to get a refund of nearly $100.00 spent to be duped and sent to a blank members area.
Be warned that this con artist operates "businesses" under several names such as:
BB Marketing Solutions
Copywriting Communications Group
Copywriting For Coaches
International Alliance of Female Copywriters (IAFC)
This is nothing short of theft and I think she should be prosecuted. Being online makes a business owner or con artist no less accountable for stealing money and delivering no service whatsoever to the buyer.
