Obama in an address to the people called out BP as an egregious polluter that put profits before safety and ithe process has destroyed the environment.
He also used this address as a platform to push for green technology and jobs a position that has been largely ignored by most amercians for years as they waste gas and energy.
It is interesting as Obama cant really win here. This spill will be his undoing not because he is doing anything wrong but because he cant stop it and it is public for all to see.
