While driving west on Hillsboro b'lvd today, Tues., city trash truck was in front of me and debris was flying out of the back of the truck. A city truck! Truck #41. Directly in back of the truck, was a sheriff's car and the debris was hitting his car, my car, and several others. All this in addition to a great deal of litter being dumped on the roadway.
The covering that is supposed to be used to cover the trash mound was NOT in use. It was over the front of the truck, not over the trash. Aside from all of this, WHY in heaven's name, didn't the officer in the patrol car pull the truck over and cite the driver? I know what would happen if I litter!
