Lost my $300 package for the third time in 6 months

Yet ANOTHER incident with USPS. Well i buy ALOT of stuff online, mostly because i sell on ebay. I buy large amounts in wholesale and sell it for 2x as much. So for the third time in 6 or 7 months, the local post office has not delivered my packages. This time, it is $300 worth of merchandise that i am missing.

I had a tracking number, which said my package was delivered to the USPS in Norwood, MA, on Feb. 9th, but i never recieved it. It is now the 15th, and still nothing. The post office claims there is now no record of my tracking number, and they have no idea where my package is. They are also claiming i did not have insurance, which i did. I made sure i paid extra for it - i always do this.

My package was shipped on the 4th, so even though it hasnt been TOO long, the point is that i know I'm never going to recieve it, and there goes over $300 down the drain, for the third time in less than a year.

I am in the process of looking for a lawyer, even though there goes more of my money out the window, i am so mad i dont even care. I want to do whatever it takes to get back at these f* morons.
