I joined this club because it is an affiliate of the NFQHA (National Foundation Quarter Horse Club) and I wanted somewhere close by to show my horses. Well, at first it was ok, but it got really bad. I was the elected secretary. The president started telling everyone she had breast cancer, which was not true. She was berating all the other officers, accusing them of working behind her back, taking her work away from her, and telling other members rude lies about us.
I was pretty much forced into the calendar printing for a fundraiser. I would buy the supplies and get a reimbursement check from them. Well, as things started to fall apart with the president cheating on her husband and lying about having cancer, causing problems with all the members, the VP, Treas. And myself decided we had had enough of this business and all resigned from the club. The club at this point owes me over $400 for printing expenses. The president refuses to pay me. I had to resort to taking them to court to get an entered judgment against them. I still have not seen on red cent from them! They have thousands of dollars racked up in bills that they are not paying. The president of the club is going to school to become a lawyer and has taken it upon herself to sue people she does business with for the club.
I don't think the club members know she is sue happy either, they are all blind to her ambitions for the club. BEWARE of this club. Do not do business with this club or join it as a member. You will either get sued or run out of the club because your thoughts don't agree with the presidents. She has also stolen money from the treasury for the club, but had no proof to show in the matter that we could take to court. The presidents name is Carrie Fitzgerald and she is bad news for anyone that crosses her path.
