Sony Ericsson W580i malfunction - Sony Ericsson W580i

My wife's mobile (W580i) stopped work after regular restart in September. Phone not power Up again, just the 'C' button flash in red couple times. I'm sure the company is aware for existence of the current problem in this phone model.in the time of the problem the mobile has a regular warranty up to 08.02.2010.

The phone IMEI number written on the box is 35923501-171240-2 and its serial number: BD3095XMLF.

I have long discussion with one of company authorised service provider in Bulgaria (Omnitel), which requested phone to be sent to them (twice) and always explain that small scratch on phone is reason they to deny phone repair/replacement.

I try to connect Sony Ericsson online and phone support here in Bulgaria, but no result. Usually receive just a call-centre standard message, with no following reply back. After couple months attempts they send me the mail message requesting me to wait for them to contact me – their last message was sent to me on 21.12.2009.

Please be aware online I found long list of blog posts which show clearly that current problem exists for this phone model and it's not caused from the phone hit. The members of the authorised service provider Omnitel explain me that manufacturer's position for such cases was - if phone have even small visual problem, they to deny warranty.
