Received a letter, via US Mail, stating I won $150,000 in the MEGA LOTTERY conducted in the UK. Claim number was listed, Address for communicating was listed, stated I needed to call the representative Samuel Page. Check enclosed for $3,980.00 to cover the tax's that will be claimed by the government against the winnings. Stated in the letter to not talk to anyone on this subject to avoid double claiming of the prize or unscrupulous acts.
I researched this matter, and because of this site, became aware that the letter was a scam. I thought it was, but you confirmed it. Thank you.
