Shawn Windey (President) Is an Entry Level Job Scam

Rise Executives has a series of adds on websites such as careerbuilder.com, simplyhired.com and others. As soon as you submit your application, Brianna Channer the "HR director" will email you and say that your invited for an interview. At this point, you should do some research and save yourself from wasting your time with these amateur scammers. Have a look at their website, it is not professional in the least. The fact that they just opened up is not an excuse. If you look at there website, you will notice that there is no mention of what services they actually provide. They say that they provide sales and marketing outsource services for Fortune 500 clients.

The is your first clue that this company is not legit. Think about it, no fortune 500 company would outsource their marketing and sales operations to a brand new marketing firm. You would not know only by the job ad description that Rise Executives is a scam. The job ads are written to portray to them as a legitimate marketing firm that plans marketing campaigns and offers services to Fortune 500 companies nationwide. They use job ad titles like "Entry Level Marketing Position" or "Account Manager Training Program" or something along these lines.

Do not be fooled by the job ad, or waste your time thinking or going to an interview. Everyone who submits a resume will be offered an interview. The first interview is a 5-10 minute, where it more seems like they are trying to sell you on the company. Then, they will say on the spot or by phone call later that day, something along the lines of "Can you come back tomorrow, to shadow one of or employees. You need to see how we do or operation, and we will evaluate you." DO NOT RETURN FOR THE SECOND DAY, what this company does and other companies do is trick you into going into the "field" to see their operation.

This consists of going with one of their sketchy employees to a neighborhood, and going door-to-door to sell coupon books. They will take you far away from the "office" and basically tell you to take one side of the street and go door-to-door and sell something that no one wants to by. IDK if the coupon books or products that they sell are legitimate or complete ripoffs, but in any case I doubt that they have permits or licenses to be going door-to-door onto private property uninvited to sell. If you are looking for a legitimate job do not waste your time with Rise Executives.

And recognize that they are trying to prey on recent college grads and other students who either haven't been to many interviews, or cannot detect the signs that this company is a scam. Very misleading and highly unethical to waste job seekers time in this manner.
