I was hired through Aerotek Professionals agency. They told me that I will be working in Palatine I can start right away there was no interview just come in fill out the paper work and you can start on friday morning that's what they told me at 7:45 am. I was kind of sceptical that there was no interview and thought that something was weird about this they don't give jobs this easily something is defenetly wrong. When I worked on friday it was good at first the political script that I was suppose to read to the customers was general and there was no forcing anyone to vote either way. Unfortunately when I came on Monday the script has changed during the training the person who did the training talked about Obama in a very positive light trying to get people's acceptance and see people's reactions. There was only one question asked during the training regarding the candidates for the campaign that the script was about where they democrats or republicans. The answer was democracts all the candidates running for the campaign in these elections are democrats and the script will cover only democrats. That's why this propaganda was only to prove that democrats should win and the script was focused mainly on convincing the costumers to vote for democrats and if someone from customers will choose republican party than we had to thank them and move on to another customer. I felt uncomfortable doing this as part of my work since the script was so obvious that this is to help the elections so that Obama will win and as a republican I couldn't sit there and read the script to the customers while they felt that the people who worked at QCSS are soliciting them into changing their vote. One customer told me she planned to vote for a democrat Dianne Primavera but now that I called her she won't. And this really got into me and I felt like I am doing something wrong here by representing a wrong party. What they did there is illegal and as a US Citizen I had to quit on Monday the second day of work because I felt uncomfortable doing this job mainly because my political views where different and I as a republican was not treated properly by them. There shouldn't be any variations at work by treating democrats better than republicans or vise versa I felt like because of that I couldn't perform the work like normally can. So I left this job and never came back. And as a citizen I am proud of myself that I did what I did because at least I have some honor left. But I wrote this mainly because I don't want anyone to fall a victim of companies such as this one and mostly telemarketing companies do that.
