I was directed to their website off Facebook and as a 'guest', I bid on and of course won a smartphone for $3.77 (frieght included). Stupidly, I paid for it with my credit card and then they commenced charging against my card.
I went to my bank and cancelled all transactions on the grounds that the charges were fraudulent because they were unauthorised and based on Ziinga's demands for copies of both sides of the card, passport photo page, utility bill, drivers licence and a completed credit application available off their website, which points to a massive fraud involving coercion and identity theft.
Ziinger got their 'fraud specialist' one S. MtBlanc, who threatened me with debt collection proceedings and trashing my name etc. Etc. I told S. MtBlanc what I thought of her and the thieves she represents and invited her to come to New Zealand and commence proceedings against me.
Ziinga put up a bit of a fight by objecting to the reversal of their transactions, but a complaint to Visa sorted that out.
Take them on! Tell the call center operator that she works for lowlife thieves. Ring them on their free numbers (NZ free number is 04 974 7282 answered in the Philippines) and tell them. Vent your frustration on their staff and tell them!
I was nearly scammed... Almost taken... These crooks are experts and right out of Ali Babas cave!
