This is a computer scam. A fragrance was advertised as being "free" except for the shipping cost of $7.95 because the company wanted women to try their fragrance. I was told today when I called that I had checked a box indicating that if I didn't contact the company within 14 days I would be charged the "retail sales price" of the fragrance $95. Additionally, I would be charged $49.95 monthly to try another fragrance... The operator had obviously received numerous calls because he was very matter of fact that I had checked the box indicating I had read and agreed to the conditions before I submitted my credit card information. It is, in my mind fraud and a scam. However, it is also a case of "buyer beware". The company knows exactly how to get their money and are continuing to do so.
