Agreed to a quote for shipment of household goods by container from Panama City Panama to Lawton Oklahoma.invoiced for this quote and paid in full. This quote was to ship by container householditems from Panama City to Lawton Oklahoma through Houston Texas. And had a 28 day estimated time. After shipment was packed and collected there was no communication and I had to initialize complaints as to where the shipment was and what was happening. I found out that the shipment went through Miami was removed from the container due to cost, put into a ware house and was told that in order for further shipping i had to pay an additional 3200.00. This was paid. On receipt of items after a considerable delay most of the packing amterial had been removed fro the larger items and there was considerable overal damage. Some items are missing and hard to say what as many of the identifying marks were no longer there. Any communication with this shipper was negative and he blamed the problems on sub contractors he had. He is negative on any resolution of this problem. The crew that unloaded the shipment said this is an ongoing issue and that the customers are always upset.
