Allegedly, for security and convenience (more so they can spam you with emails) air miles now insists on creating pin number to access their website - kind of fries a customer who has no internet presence, and does not need to create a pin & collector number profile. Guess its back to touch tone phone hell trying to get into their customer service queue, and find out if any of my purchases since my last statement (2008?) have been posted to my account. All I want is to trade in my points for an A&P-Metro Grocery coupon. Used to be 75 for $20, then 120, then 140... Wonder if it's 190 points needed now or worse. Unless you have an unlimited data plan on your cel-phone or a free, hi-speed internet connection with complementary modem and anti-virus security suite, sure feels like they don't want you as a loyal customer anymore. That is NOT the program I signed up for, that's for sure.
