While monitoring my account activity online, I noted that Ck#99395 for $30.00 was posted to my account. I then opened the viewing screen for the check and found it to have come from Palm Loans Advances. I've never dealt with any companies under that name nor have I ever heard of them. Contacted my bank and I was informed that this was processed due to a bounced check that I might have issued. I do not use checks for my transactions and therefore my bank was not very helpful in this regard. This is the second time this has happened to me. The last time was on 7/25, and I had to change my checking account to eliminate any further unauthorized debits. Yet it happened again within 2 weeks of changing my account. Banks are of no help in this regard. They'll put a stop against these checks but they, too want $31.00 for "Stop Payemnt".
