Last week, I received a postcard from Holsted Jewelers and the idea of paying only $6.95 for shipping and handling sounded reasonable. I called them to hear about the offer and was told I would need a debit or credit card to pay the S&H. My deposit had not been made and I did not have the monies to pay it. Yesterday, I did have the money. I decided to check them out on the internet. Why, I don't know. I read the consumer complaints and thought - Thank God my intuition told me to check them out. I almost got caught in this scam.
