I received a text saying I had won a $1000 gift card, but when I filled out the info (I couldn't remember if I had ever done anything w / Bestbuy or not, I'm always looking for good deals, so it was possible I had) it said to enter the four digit # they texted to me... I never got a second text.
If this is legit they have a glitch, if it's not, then it's an annoying scheme and sadly, I may have fallen for it.
Gotta love middle of the night texts that catch you off guard.
I too was told to enter 580 as my first confirmation # to start the claim process.
DO NOT follow through if you get this kind of text!
