I received an email from my friend with a link to a news article to make money at home. It sounded legitimate at first and I wanted to try it. It turned out that the email came from my friends email account that was hacked. The article is made to look like a news article but it is really a fake. As soon as I realized that I asked the credit card company to stop payment. They said I need to fill out a fraud claim at my local branch. Some of the warning signs I missed: no subject in the email and poor grammar in the website.
