I Jeffrey Cole, was looking for a home. I answered a listing on gregslist for a home in La Quinta, California. They responed and said that they would would like further information about us. The information that was asked for was our address, pets, and character. I saved all the emails that were transmited between us. One of the emails asked for me to call him. The numbers given were 234-704-566-7522 and 234-704-277-3995. During our phone call he told me about the house and said that he was a doctor that that had to leave the country due to an emergency for five years. He stated that we would be taking care of the property for $800 per month with a $600 deposit. We went to look at the house and it was very nice, he seemed to know what he was talking about. My mother was skeptical but i was the one whe talked to him so she went along with it. The man on the phone said he would send us the keys if we sent the deposit Western Union (141-819-5047). We did that. The next time we spokehe asked for wanted the rent also and stated that the pakange was on it's way. He gave us a fedex number (793689923470) and that checked out. My mother and I agreed not to send any more money. The guy tried to tell us we were untrusting and that his wife would only did it that way. We cancel our agreement, he said that he would reimburse us our money. We never heard any more from the man. We dont even know if it was Daniel Walls that we spoke to.
