Evansville Rescue Mission located in Evansville, IN has an Executive Director who has been abusing his power since he came there 3 years ago. He has been having employees work at his house during the same time that the Mission is paying them without any compensation. Also he has been using the Rescue Mission's credit card to buy the material for his personal use. If no one tips there hand and investigated this they would find this on Credit Card receipts and I know you would not find any payback by him. He has continually gotten rid of employees and brought in friends of his to take their places. He wrote his own "employee manual" and violated it by hiring someone that is a relative of someone already working there two times. His financial officer and he are both caught up in this and if someone does not get in without their knowledge it would be covered up. The books are audited yearly by the Accountants own "brother-in-law's" accounting firm. How is this fair. The other thing is that this organization is abusing the use of their "non-profit" status by putting city license plates on all their vechiles and then using them for their own use. This organization takes donations to keep them running and now they are getting grants to do some of the things. Is anyone checking on them?
