I have a house for sale and asked southwest gas to turn gas on for at least 48 hours to have lenders inspector check heater and appliance. Southwest refused saying I had an outstanding bill (1 year). I told them I need to have inspection done in order to close escrow and that they would be paid in full ($490.90). This bill arises from another home I had and where my son lived. (I left the gas on for him but he left owing this bill). My broker just contacted me that his Real Estate Office called Southwest and offered to pay the $490.90, BUT, Southwest told them that " there are circumstances" and would not take the offer. This company is a megalomaniac conglomerate and if you go to their website, no where can you find customer complaints or where to complain. I will lose this sale, which I need desperately, if the lenders inspector does not complete his inspection and I told Southwest too. If this happens I will have to declare BK and Southwest can (Inappropriate Content Removed) Joseph (MY lose? $47,000)
