Amy, I'm sorry that I'm not able to make it up there to discuss this with you. I have some serious health problems and unable to drive. My brother works grave shift and sleeps during the day, so I can't have him drive me either. But I have given you the information that is needed and hope that you can understand my point of view. I don't see any reason we can't complete these problems right away using this medium. I have had a good working relationship with Lindquist and have been very happy with your company until this point. I'll just summarize them for you again. 1. The transfer of my family plot that was deeded to Carol Bentley was illegal because of two factors. (1) I submitted a doctor letter to you that I was not able to understand what I was doing, and any contracts signed since I was declared incapable of making my decisions for myself should be null and void. Also, it was my understanding the paperwork was just authorizing her to use the space for Jasmine Spradling to be laid to rest, not giving her the entire family plot. Jasmine's parents didn't have much money for this untimely death. I had these plots and so I offered one to her in order to make the burden on her a little lighter. But never did I have the intention to deed the entire family plot to her. I expected the transaction to be conducted the same way it was done for Kailie Browning. I had spoke to Layton at that time and he said he was sure that when the new section opened, he would have people in the area I have my plots at to want to move to the newer location that wasn't near the road and a little more secluded. (2) There were notarized documents that were not notarized in front of the notary. When I looked into this it is illegal for a notary to notarize something without that person physically in front of them and show them ID. I do have the form to file a complaint with the State concerning the way the paperwork was completed. I hope that I don't need to do this and we can do all of this amicably. The remedy I would like to see from this action is to have that family plot deeded back to me. Of course I did authorize Jasmine Spradling to use that one space and she will remain there unless Carol Bentley requests a change in that. 2. I needed two more family plots and wanted them by my family. He was sure that if I signed a purchase agreement to buy two family plots in the new area, then he would be able to find someone to change plots with me. The new section is opened and he has not been able to find anyone to exchange with me. Layton had promised to get me two family plots next to mine. I spoke with him and he will continue to do so. Therefore with the space next to Jasmine Spradling and the space next to Kailie Browning I will only need one more family plot. So we can do a new purchase contract for that one family plot, and I would like it on the inside of the walls. 3. There is some money left from the previous purchase contract. I do need all three of the pillowstones that I currently own to say "Jones". There is one that says "Browning" I will have to pay to have this changed. I also need to order a single headstone for Kailie. I would like a vase and picture on her space. Also on my space I do want a picture on my headstone and a vase also. The money left over can then can go to the extra family space and hopefully Layton will be able to find one closer to me. I hope you can understand this from my perspective. As Layton can tell you when I purchased those family plots it was very important for my family to be together. Hopefully Layton will be able to find one for me. I really think giving the facts that none of this is unreasonable since I paid for all of the plots and there were errors that occurred that shouldn't have. I hope that we can resolve this at this level. I am very ill and haven't been given much time left to live myself. I need to make sure these things are completed as quickly, easily and as amicable as possible. I don't see any reason why it needs to go into litigation when the requests that I'm making are just to uphold the law and make sure that my original intentions are carried out. Please let my know as soon as possible what your decision is so that I can move forward in whichever direction I need to go.
