Since 12/16, I have been seeing charges for $11.99 every month in my bank statement. I always wrote it off as "something I bought online", and stupidly only realized today that I really just had no idea what thand barge was, or why it had been recurring for so long. I feel ridiculous for not questioning it sooner. But when I googled the title of the charge, I found this website, along with some other similar things. I have only been in FYE ONCE. Never signed up for this. I must have paid for a CD with my credit card, and lo and behold...:/
I contacted my bank, then FYE, who tried to talk me into keeping "my membership" and telling me about all the "benefits" as I repeated, "I JUST want the charges to STOP, and a FULL REFUND", several times. The representative, Ally, after I HAD TO ASK assured me that I would not be charged again, even though she "lost" the cancellation code I was supposed to be given. I asked about the refund of all the money charged from me in the past, and she told me I would need to send photocopies of my bank statements showing the charges to an executive office to be considered for a refund. Absurd. I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau, but today is a holiday, so I have to wait. I'm not sure if they can even help me. This is so violating. I just want my money back.
