FYI: Hotwire's unpublished hotel rates may cost you more in the end, especially if you choose a hotel outside the U.S. (In this case Italy) I know the amount is only $10, but when a company states they will give you a discount (up to 40%) on a hotel if they choose it for you, then the end cost (after taxes and fees) should be cheaper than selecting the same hotel without the blindfold approach.in speaking two representatives I got nowhere.
