My story is the same - computer froze and what popped up said could not proceed without buying the antivirus software - which I did. We have had all kinds of issue with the laptop since then and the 'Geek Squad' tech told us today (we are going on the 7th hour of 'cleaning up' the laptop) that that software is what gave us the virus on our computer. I looked up what went through my account and it was monstrotv.com. When I googled that web site - I found all these complaints and saw IDENTICAL stories!!!
