Applied to "Administrative Assistant (Lombard)" when searching for Chicago area jobs. Got this email reply:

Hi,

I'm Amanda Syler, head of the HR department. We are sorry to say that the position has already been filled. After choosing someone we found your resume in our spam box (not sure why it landed there).

We strongly feel you should have received the position, however we have the same opening available in our 2nd floor office. The duties and hours are the same, just under different management. I can put you on the top of the list since I will be reviewing the resumes there as well.

Figured an actual company wouldn't want me to download anything - especially considering "Mango Media Design" doesn't sound like the sort of place that would have a legal administrative assistant opening. Glad other people have reported this scam.
