I 'claimed' a free sample from them value 5.95 GB equivalent to ZAR 74.56 and gave my visa details to cover the cost of the shipping. Approx. Date 21/23 Jan. 2012. This was while I was on holiday in the UK, staying with my daughter. I received my sample, and my card was debited with the R74.56. After my return to SA I noticed that my credit card had been debited with an amount of ZAR 676.63 on 14/2, I tried to block this amount via the credit card division (Johannesburg) of my bank but was given the wrong information as to how to go about doing this.
Yesterday evening, 22/2 I received a text message from my bank advising that a FURTHER amount of ZAR 685.91 had been processed on my card. I have been into my local bank (Port Elizabeth) to explain what happened. The credit card division confirmed that this amount was pending. I have now cancelled my credit card to prevent a further incidence.
