My son was purchasing a used vehicle and i wanted to do a vin# check on it for accidents, r title, etc. Before he purchased it. I searched for a vin check using the internet, results were (888-613-1485 car report). I used there 2.95 quick vin check on 1/15 and charged to credit card when bill came i was charged 2.95 and (29.95 a option i never used on 1/17) i noticed it and was angry but thought ill pay the extra charge and be done with them forever. One month later on my same credit card bill i recieved another charge for a vin check that i didnt request either and from what looks to be a different company (carvin checks com) same scam for 29.95 on 2/16. I think this two scamming companies or group of people may be the same crooks. Keep in mind i only authorized one payment of 2.95 on one credit card one time only.
