I was taken for a ride by this site. This was my first time joining an adult website. I did receive about 15 e-mails once my trial offer was over. So I joined just to read them. But the first thing that was wired was that not one of the 15 ladies that responded lived within 150miles from my area. Second was that they were all quite attractive and I could not understand why they needed to use an adult site to meet men? Third indication of being a rip off was the fact that in the e-mails I sent out during my trial period, I didn't receive one response from anyone I sent an e-mail to.
I did continue to stay and use the site. Most of the regular messages I received was a reply to a message I sent out, but never talk about the last e-mail.in my messages I would ask a question or mention what I was up to or doing either over the past weekend or what's going on the upcoming weekend. I only received a few responses that ever answered the questions I asked or even referenced what I said in the last message.
Then there's the mysterious one or two sentence message that states "thinking about you, I'm horny now" or "saw your profile, speak to me in chat room" Really vague, but luring statements.
I went to give it a final test. I spent two days sending out e-mails to women. I read there profiles and asked them something that would indicate a specific message response. Two days and aprox 80 emails sent out. I received a total of 7 responses. Not one of which answered to what I wrote. More vague "I'm horny now" or "I'm a lil tipsy" type of messages. I even sent messages to the members without pics hoping that these represented a real person. But still no response. Only received responses from ones with pics. Mmmm...
I do understand that a response on any adult website is not mandatory and is totally up to the interested party on the other end. But, I am a member of several other websites and did the same type of test in all fairness to eroticy.com On all other sites I received a positive result. A direct response or answer to my question. On several responses I received e-mail addresses, IM invitations, or invitations to meet in person and yes SEX! Which is what we are looking for in the first place
I was quite upset when I came across this rip off report about Eroticy.com. I did not want to believe it, although I had my suspicions. I actually like the site with everything else it has to offer. But I do not like deception. I would have paid and kept it even if the results weren't that great. Since they feel it necessary to lure and have false profiles on the site. I am no longer going to keep it. Try it out for yourself and you will see it really is a scam.
