Had alerts and warnings that my computer was infected and I needed to buy and download AVGXP Home Security 2012 to fix it. I couldn't gain access to any programmes installed on my computer, anti virus or web pages etc., so thinking this was genuine AVG product I foolishly paid with my credit card and downloaded the file. Upon reading about this scam I am so annoyed that I fell for it and that more importantly these "people" are preying on the most vulnerable, who can least afford this.
