I ordered the perfume Chance by Chanel 3.4oz for $79.99 (after taxes and shipping the total was $94) and sent it to my sister for a belated Christmas gift. When she received it she said it smelt of downy and not of her favorite new perfume. Luckily she was aware of what the product was supposed to smell like so she knew for a fact that it was not indeed equivalent to her perfume. She compared the bottle that I gave her to the one that she just ran out of and she said they were similar but not exactly the same. Small differences in the packaging.
I contacted the company just saying that the product wasn't what I wanted, not that I thought they were a sham company as I wanted a refund. They gave me a return number to put on the box and an address to return it to. My sister sent it off in the mail today and I'll update the story on whether I was able to get a refund or not.
I was very disappointed in this company, I expect to get a fake product if I'm paying a quarter of the retail price. Their price was only about 20% cheaper than purchasing it at the boutique. Please do NOT waste your time or money on this company.
