On 10/18, I contacted the Data recovery labs by filling out a quote request form online for data recovery on flash drive. On that form, I specified that I am most interested on folders

Named ACC and Other. I was contacted back by Michael Caldwell (Account manager), with phone #: 1-866-823-0333 Fax: 1-216-925-4697. On the same day, I spoke with a sales representative, who told me to forward the flash drive with a copy of the email, which I did by using U

On 10/21, after I got a delivery confirmation by USP, I contacted the sales reps, to ask if they received my flash drive. They said yes, and that they will contact me after evaluating it within the next 7 business days.

On 10/25, I was contacted by Kevin Gladki (Account manager) that the recovery of my data is

Possible. He gave a quote for $649. I replied the same day and gave then a go ahead. To continued, they requested a down deposit of $149.

On 10/31, I was contacted by email, that they finished recovery everything. They sent me a directory on how to view the folders and the files recovered, but the opening of the files was locked. I questioned the inability to open the files, and they said it was done that way to protect and guarantee their payment. I also questioned, what of if I finally get the data back and I could not open it, they said they will refund my money, but nevertheless, that I should not worry about it because all what I see is recovered and can be opened.

On 11/4, I got a call from Kevin Gladki that my data is fully recover and ready, and that they

Need me to send a new flash drive media that is 16 gigabits. I mailed them that flash drive immediately the same day through UPS.

On 11/8, Kevin Gladki emailed me that my flash drive media has arrived that I need to call to make the final payment. I asked him again before I authorized the payment if those folders and files can open, and he said yes.

On 11/9, after the payment order was signed by me for $525 ($25 for fedex shipment), the flash drive was mailed.

On 11/11, after I received the flash and go through it, I found out that my data were not recovered as promised. I sen email to Kevin immediately that evening, and he never responded even up till.

On 11/14, I called data recovery looking for Kevin, they said he is busy, and I spoke with a sales

Representative, who said I should forward the email I sent to Kevin to sales department, which I did.

On 11/22, when I did not here from nobody, on the same day I spoke to sales reps that I need a

Refund. After I ask for a refund that Kevin, Kevin replied that all sales are final. I tried to dispute the charge but the credit card company said they cannot do anything.

Just to inform the entire public that Data recovery labs is FRUAD that. They pretend they can recover your data, but that is a lie. Whatever they make you see before payment is an abstract file, it is not real.
