My friend got a survey with a check instructing her with what to do. The check was for $2,2, 50.00. I was concerned about it so i checked it with our local bbb. There is no information for the company. I called the number on the survey, and it connects you to an automated call screening that when you say your name then connects you to a guy that sounds nigerian. This is a scam. I am so called that i checked it before my friend did something with these checks. I am having her go to the local police dept. And file a police report and turn the checks over to the police. If you deposit these checks then the bank holds you legally liable, and the people running this scam get clean money. A wire transfer like this can be considered wire fraud. Don't do it!!! Go to your local police dept, and file a police report. These people need to be arrested, and i'm going to make sure that i for one don't let my friend become a victim.
