Warrens the Jewellers
Consumer Report

I was not in the right frame of mind on the day of my trade in as was recovering from depression. I decided to sell gold chains that had been sitting in my jewellery box for years, I had seen the sign in Warrens the jewellers and not thinking clearly decided to go in. I advised that I wished to sell my chains. This assistant plonked them all onto a scale and offered me £234. I said I thought they maybe worth more though was not sure of their true value. The assistant advised she would need to check the quality of the gold went away for some time, I noticed a few of them nipping in and out of that room and glancing at me. The assistant finally came back and advised she would offer me £245. Another assistant came over and said oh this is a lovely chain, but no one advised me of their true value, so was completely in the dark. I accepted their offer. Later I finally admitted to my husband what I had done. He was livid as he knew the true value of my chains which were in excess of £1800 and more so knew I had been completely ripped off due to my vulnerable state of mind at that time.
