I ordered a free trail of two skincare products after seeing an 'advertorial' on Facebook. I recieved two separate packages of anti-aging skin cream.'ReLiftxs' came with no information, but the package of two jars of Hydroxatone came with some literature informing me that I would be charged if I did not return the product after a 30 day trial. I rang the phone number and told the operator I wanted to return the product. She told me (American sounding woman) that it would cost too much for me to post and return so the company would like me to keep the product at no further charge. She told me I had been charged one off payment of $2.06 (this was confirmed on my fredit card statement). I then noticed on my statement that a company called EPM Skinrevive had charged me three separate payments of $3.25, $93.08 and $91.97. Although I did not recognise the name of this company (EPM Skinrevive) I rang Hydroxatone to make further enquiries, believing they must be connected. The same woman told me I had only been charged the original shipping cost ($2.06) and reiterated that any further payments were ceased on my request. She claimed she did not know anything about this other company who had been charging me and wished me luck! I am sure these three companies are operating a scam together. I cannot find contact details for Skinrevive, but I have not authorised any payments to them and yet they have taken money from my credit card. My concern is they still have my credait card details. Next step is to contact my bank to see what they can trace back.
