Juveneu False Advertising and unclear small print re payments
Consumer Report

While feeling stressed and vulnerable as my father lay in hospital about to die (he did on September 22nd) (the date 10/11 is the date the above company took the unauthorised as far as I knew money) I stupidly fell for the marketing of the Juveneu gel. However, it was a trial price of £1.99 so I went for it. Unfortunately they sent me another identical pot of the gel a month later. They first had not done anything for my skin at all, and so you can imagine my shock when I had my bank statement the other day, showing £60 had been taken by Juveneu. I would never ever spend that on any face care in any case, and especially on one that DOES NOT DO WHAT IT SAYS! I am scared stiff that I have "signed up" inadvertently for a year (or more?) Shock horror! Now my father has died, my finances are very very restricted and I do not know what I can do. I went to my bank and they cannot help me - they MAY be able to when I prove I have tried to stop this gel being sent. If I get another one on 11th I shall send it back unopened, but do not have a way of contacting them. They seem to hide themselves away - and I am not surprised. They prey on the naive, the trusting and the gullable! (I am all of these, despite being 59 years old!) Please help! Thank you. Sally Royle
