Well I sincerely appreciate your site though I found it too late. I am asking now if anyone wants to sue or contact me to do so. I intend to take this to the fullest extent. Let me tell you my story.
First of all I went thru the same steps as many of you I made the call talked to a rep. Had a rep come to my home ect. The rep who came to my home kicked her shoes off had supper and then got down to business. She looked at our yard and helped us determine the proper site she said they would not have to dig more than 2 feet. My father is in the construction business, so let me clarify that looking at my yard I had to agree that they would be doing very little digging.
I have watched the leveling of yards for many years for the foundation of houses so I felt confident on my analysis for the leveling of a pool.
At any rate she told me about the pool advertised and intised and persuaded us on the midline 24' pool. Two reasons for my impulse buying were not being naive or gullable, but my husband is allergic to clorine which kept us from purchasing a pool for our children in the past. Second was the "lifetime guarantee".
They finally called to install my pool at the first of April. They set an appointment for friday april 23 at noon. I had promised a $900.00 down payment. I had already given my rep credit card info to pay $200.00 and was to give the installers a check for the remaining $700.00. Due to a death in the family I was not going to have the full amount by that friday I tried to contact my installers, but never could so I called the company. I spoke with a male called Kendrick. He said I could post date a personal check for April 30 so that the installation of the pool could continue.
The installers finally returned my call late thursday night saying they would reschedule. I promptly called them back and left again another message letting them know what Kendrick had said. They called me the Friday around 10:00am saying they would be there in a couple of hours. They didn't show up until around 5pm
My husband had to miss that day of work because they said we both had to be present.
All they done was dropped off a blue crate loaded down with our pool and their bobcat. They then had me to sign papers stating that i specified where i wanted my pool. The next day they started installation. I had to run to town and when i returned I found a HUGE hole in my back yard.
My husband was upset and took me inside to talk to me about it. He said that she went from leveling to digging and tried to level where she had dug when she hit a big bolder. Then another, which ended up being 4-5 huge boulders by the time they were done. The installers were nice but charged me an additional $200.00 for their extra digging and time.By Monday they done the plumbing and collected their money.
I contacted Global Sun Pools on Tuesday as to ask questions pertaining to my warranties. The subject was disregarded and stated to me that they handle all of that and I really didn't have to mail any of the info in. Then I was asked how I like my pool. I told them I would have liked it better if I had access to it without mud. I finally told her the deal and described to her the mess. She ended up transferring my call to Kendrick who was once a nice person, now turned out to be very rude and non compliant. We finally agreed on me taking pictures with a digital and emailing them to him so a better judgement could be made on their part.
Thursday a rep called for the 3 day follow at which time I told her everything. She was very upset and said that it was the second complaint that morning. She also stated that she was going to make sure that this woman over kendrick would call me back and stated that she was the daughter of the owner. Friday I received a call but not from her. This was an older man who never stated his name but was extremely rude. Needless to say I feel I'm stuck with a big bill to get this mess cleaned up.
Before anyone says anything let me clarify I read my contract and I know I'm responsible for the clean up myself. However let me also state that the installation company made an error which resulted in them hitting the boulders in the first place. After reading other statements here I'm fearing the worse in that the I need to fear the quality of my pool as well. I'll keep you updated on my first disasters there as they appear. Until then I'm requesting anyone who wants to take action and stop this money landering company or who wants to know the details to help take action to contact me.

I also agree with almost everyone here in the fact of false t. V advertisement, enticing, ripoff, lies, corruption, and everything deviouse of this company. I want to see them brought down.
