I received an invitation by mail to be a mystery shopper, they included a check for $3,996.40. My assignment was to call susan Thompson or Jonathan Phillips @ 1-519-991-0072 to get the check activated. Next I was to go shopping @ Sears, BestBuy, Kmart, Walmart, JC Penny or HomeDepot & spend $100.00. Next I was to wire $1,606.40 via western union to: Stacy Childress & wire $1,600.00 via moneygram to: Frances Ocampo, both people are in Atlanta, Ga. I was to keep $450.00 for myself. Record the Western Union & Moneygram receipt numbers on the form I received. Grade the performances of workers from my personal shopping experiences & then fax the form to: 1-706-828-4482. The envelope was postmarked from Canada & the check was issued from: Jackson County Bank, Columbus, IN 47201. The full address of the mystery shopper company: Owens Communications, Inc, 1815 21st Street, Columbus, In 47201. This is a real scam. If you get anything similar, Do Not Put this check in your bank account as you will lose all of the total amount plus your bank will charge fees plus it could cause you to bounce numerous checks. Just some good advice. I did not fall for it. As they say, if it's too good to be true, well then you know the rest!
