I was looking on craigslist for another job and pulled up "DATA ENTRY & ACCOUNTING CLERK" so I sent an email on Saturday 09/03 w / my resume. I'm going to upload everything that was emailed and also the IM messages that were made.
*EVERYONE (FBI, POLICE, regular people just looking for a job) PLEASE READ THIS AND AVOID THE SCAM. Hopefully, these people all get caught and thrown in jail*
Before you read the details, here is the END RESULT*
The end result was that I went to the Western Union at the local supermarket and called my husband right before making the transfer (who was doing research on the company and the people to make sure it wasn't a scam). I called to make sure that I was doing the right thing and if he didn't agree w / me paying $200.00 for software of a potential job, I would walk out at that moment. He said that it seemed legit w / everything he'd seen and said to go ahead. So I sent the money, got my receipt and then walked around the supermarket to find something for lunch. At the moment I was at the freezer section, he calls me and I answer. He asks me if I sent the money already and I told him yes. He says "get the money back, it's a scam! Found the vendor's name on google.com w / remarks from numerous people saying they got scammed for $300.00 - $400.00 from the same Julie Puu and address being in Las Vegas, Nevada. So I run to the register of Western Union being 4 months pregnant with my 3rd child on the way and ask for a refund. The tellers have me call the 1-888 # to Western Union and I tell them the situation and I give the name of the person I was sending it to. They said that the name Julie Puu is in their log for questioning and I could also inform the authorities.in the end, I got my money back. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.
