I have been trying to get someone to help me with my "problems", to no avail... And they continue: I was in an accident 5 yrs. Ago, and spent 3 months in in-patient recovery &
was very fortunate to have Medicaid cover all expenses; but Nassau Cty. Employees sold an fraudulent bill for $13,374.00 for the same hospital stay to an collection agency, and
that phony debt is still in the records of the "credit reporting agencies", even tho' I filed a complaint for Medicaid Fraud.
Most recently: In Sept.. I requested an "balanced budget" payment arrangement from L.I.P.A., and I was given a figure of $53/mo. But at that point, I had been forced by circumstance to become dependant upon the assistance of the Nassau Cty. Office of Housing and Homeless Services, and all of a sudden my L.I.P.A. Bills became
UNREASONABLY bigger. I need to insert that the landlord involved in this "problem" is an "wealthy Italian", who has "contacts" in many places in Nassau cty.- both
governmental and otherwise... I told my outpatient counselor about this problem in mid-July, 201, declaring that I would file bankruptcy before I paid the fraudulent L.I.P.A. Bill, & the next day I got a letter from the landlord stating that my lease - expiring on JULY 31st - was not going to be renewed. I had requested an investigation of the "theft of service" a number of times from L.I.P.A., but a full investigation was never conducted until two weeks after I was forced to move out. I have a letter from L.I.P.A. Confirming the probability of my allegation of a "shared meter" problem... But then, after I was moved out, the "problem" magically disappeared, and I have been pursued since then for the amount (s) of money I don't actually owe...
One more related problem: After my aforementioned lease expired, I requested the assistance of the Nassu Cty. Agency to find a new home (and I use the word home as loosely as possible). But on 09/03, Karen Woodmansee - the director of the section of the agency - told me that I had to leave the apt. Because the wheelchair ramp to the door would be removed on the followng Monday -09/06 - that I had to go to an motel with the clothes on my back, leaving everything else behind (all of which I am the owner)... I was supposed to stay at the motel until my money ran out, & go to Social Services for shelter as an homeless person... I didn't follow those directives, & I am now residing in an apt. Bldg. Of the agency's choosing... Where I know for a fact that there is at least one other apt. "sharing" my electricity... I have a friend living in this bldg. Who has been paying double and triple the ammounts of her actual usage. There are Immigrants living in this bldg., whose citizenship is "questionable", who also happen to employed by the landlord... One or more of them comes into my apt. When I am not here and steals everything he thinks I won't miss... The bldg. Manager had my lock cylinder replaced, but
that's just another exercise in futility because the same master-key will open the new lock... I am not looking for any personal recognition... I am an recovering addict & just
want some justice. If you can help, please E-mail or call (Personal Information Removed)
