I recently met a man off a dating site. He told me that he was into charity work and that he and I should be partners of our on charity. We named it Hope's Children. I sent $100 toward the charity assuming my money was going to help an orphanage in Africa. My "partner" is from Nigeria and he sent me some documents (2) one a receipt for my contribution and the other certified proof that our so called charity exist. Shortly after, I started receiving emails that I had won the lottery from the United Nations. Only thing is, I checked into it and found that the UN has no such lottery... What do I do? This man has asked me for $500 to help pay for his rent that he was being evicted... I still chat with this individual on a regular basis but I want him to be caught. I suspect he is with the Nigerian "419" scam. What should I do?
