Beware of Mr. Mike Akers owner of A Top shelf currently 5612 N. Western ave.in Chicago IL. Now address of 9512 N. Lockwood skokie Il. Phone #773-506-7041. He has used other names and addresses for his company in the past also. As a former employee I was a server who was cheated on my checks and subjected to bullying. A Top shelf is a company that provides servers and bartenders to various catering companies and individuals throughout Chicagoland unfortunately the employees are independently contracted and this is a terible situation for them. Often times employees may be illegal or of a poor education and Mr. Akers is aware of this and definetly takes advantage of this. The only recourse is for employees to sue, and they lack the knowledge and means to do so. Sincerely Cindy
