NOTE FROM THE EDITOR: As users of this website are probably aware, complaint normally does not get involved in disputes over the accuracy of reports. Despite this, we have always had a policy concerning allegations of criminal arrests/convictions if an author claims in a report that a person has been arrested or convicted of a crime for which a police report or other official record would exist, we may (upon request) contact the author and request that they provide us with documentation to support that part of their claim. If the author does not respond or does not provide documentation, we may, in our discretion, edit or redact appropriate portions of the report.
Below is a report which contained these typed of allegations. Complaint was contacted by the person named in the report who stated that the allegations were false. We were then asked to contact the author and request documentation to support the authors claim.
