Currency exchange problem - Hollister cloting store

I would like to know how your company can charge 20%- 25% in Canada for your clothing when our Canadian dollar is at par or above it. The store were I was going to shop at told me they charge move because of the currency exchange and it don: t make any sence because our dollar is at par. Thank You. Susan
