I was checking out the posibility of obtaining a short term loan on the internet. When filling out the information there was a box to check if I would be interested in obtaining information and to sign up for Global Voice Phone service. On the first attempt the site advised me that I had to check the box to proceed. I did not and tried to continue with the application. It sent me back to the previous page. It stated that I had to check the box which only was advising on the reading of policies. I checked that box and continued on andaboxcame up and said to proceedwithout accepting the offer (of voice global net). I clicked that box and was forwarded tothe additional information form to complete the loan process.
There was no further mention of Voice Global Net on the site.
Nothing was ever received nor any conversation with them.
When my bank statement showed a debit of $59.90 I attempted to contact them through the phone number (800-682-5187) which was only an automated answerer. I was unable to make personal contact with anyone from the company. I left a phone number for Customer Service to contact me and none was made.
