I was on the phone with bank about having some mail stolen from my mailbox which included some checks I wrote to pay some bills. Not alot of money but it has my checking account number which people could get money out of my account. So I asked if any transactions have occured in the past few days. I told her I had a $27.00 for gas and no outstanding checks out except the two I had stolen out of my mail. She told me the only charge I had was MWI Galleria USA and I said, ' WHAT?'. She repeated it again, I quickly went on line to my search engine and low and behold, its a scam. I feel lucky only to have $14.95 charged to me 2 months in a row but I am very angry that this has occured. I have never given MWI Galleria USA authorization to charge me for anything and I will get atleast my last charge of $14.95 back. I cancelled that debit card (yes, they could have emptied my bank account) and put a flag on my checking account for further protection. I have learned a valuable lesson that you really must protect yourself at all times when it comes to money/credit fraud. Read your statements every month which includes checking and credit card account. I hope this helps someone else in the future and I hope that MWI Galleria has a horrible Thanksgiving and coal in their stockings for Christmas!
