I received a bill from the Comprehensive Foot & Ankle Ctr from two years ago for a service that was not met. I went here because i had pain in my foot and lower leg. I was told by the Dr. That I had been bitten by a bug on my leg, which was not true, and that he was not sure what was causing the pain in my foot. To diagnose the pain in my foot, the Dr. Sent me for an expensive test and scheduled me for a follow up appointment. I went through with the test and when I called back for my follow up time, the nurse informed me that he was no longer working there. Confused by this, I asked the lady that worked there at the time, if i owed anything and she said everything was covered. I was able to see an orthopedic doctor, at different place, and he looked at my leg and foot and knew right away what is was. It was something simple that could have been diagnose and dealt without any expensive test. Now, two years later, I have received a bill from the Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Ctr for x amount. Why should i have to pay for a service that was not met?
