I have worked at huddle house for 2 years, i was a service and then a manger with no training, and i ask to step down about 6 weeks ago, they put me as ass., manger. I moved to sturgis from houston miss, to be closer to my job, they got a man name donald miller to be manger at our store, at frist he seen to be ok them all the employees notice he smell like alcohol, then i starting to notice he was telling a lot of lies, for some reason he wanted to get rid of everyone who had been there for a year are so, this huddle house is independently owned, i have had 6 mangers since i have been there, last week donald came to me he said i had some complaints about me saying i didnt like blacks and i was on drugs, this really blew me away because i have alot of black friends, any way i tole him i would take a drug test, so i went to a doctors office that day and took a drug test they set up for me and i pass it. He was trying to run to stores at one time, the other huddle house is in cleveland, miss. He was starting to make sex remarks to me and some of my servers went he would go pass me he would bum my behine. (but) he was doing this to other employees to, well a cook called me a side one night and tole me donald was going to get rid of me because i didnt have sex with black men, thats my choice i am white, its just not me, i dont care what other people do its none of my buss, this cooki named bobby nickoles was hierd on are around feb. 16, some one sent my phone a picture of bobby sleeping on the job august 15 he worked 11 to 7 that night i send donald a copy of it he tole bobby i send him that picture and showed it to him, well august the 19 i worked all day went home the little sturgis bike rally (www.sturgismsrally.com) was in town i had 2 friends from out of town that came down, my sister-n-law who works at huddle house 809 highway 12 west, starkville, ms. 39759 was working 3 to 11 on this 8/19/10 called me around 12:30 am and said her car would not start and she needed some one to jump her off and none of the employees would do it, so i live 13 miles from starkville so i called the store (huddle house) and donald my manger was there, i ask him why no one could jump her off she had some cables, he said dont worry i will get someone to jump her off so u want have toi drive up here. She called me back at 1:30am and said donald had left and no one had jumped her off, she tole me bobby was working and she got off at 11:00 pm sitting outside waiting on some one to jump her off she had her own cables, well i tole her i had drink 2 wine coolers and didnt want to drive, but i got my boy friend to drive me up there, we were almost there and she called and said she got a custom to jump her off, but my boyfriend said he wanted something to eat so i called in his order at huddle house and when me got there the order was not ready so i went in side the food was not ready so i payed for it and went outside in my car and waited for my food, bobby came to the door and said my food was ready, so i went in side to pick it up, there was a lady at the bar takeing pictures went i got back to the car my boyfriend tole me she took a picture of me walking to the car, so i called up there and tole the server to save my ticket were i payed for my food. And she tole me that was bobbys wife takeing the pictures. So i called donald and the frist thing he said was im not listing to your drunk ass, i said what, man im not drunk, he starting cussing me. I tole him no one has a right to talk to any one like that, and he said some things to me that i really cant said what was said to me, any way he tole me why dont you just ouit i can do with out you, so he ask me if i was quiting and i tole him just wait and see. I didnt go back, i was treated unfair i no he want last long but thank god im away from there, but now im a single woman with no income. Why do we have to pay the price when things go wrong?
